Position: Community Connect Coordinator
Salary: £22,212 – £23,698 pro rata
Hours: 22.5 hours pw
Holidays: 27 days for the first 5 years of service, increasing up to 33 days.
The Community Connect service is an invaluable Carers Centre service, delivered by volunteers, with the aim of reducing carer isolation through regular social telephone calls. Under the leadership of the Head of Operations (HofOps), the Community Connect Coordinator will co-ordinate all elements of Community Connect service delivery. You’ll be responsible for training and supporting the volunteers and monitoring and evaluating the impact of the service ensuring high quality service provision.
We want to hear from people who have experience of co-ordinating or delivering a service, and supporting staff or volunteers. You’ll be organised and efficient and able to manage your own workload using your initiative. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate sensitively with our volunteers and clients who use the service.
