Sheffield City Trust

**** Update

We’re pleased to confirm that we plan to begin our phased reopening of our leisure centres from Tuesday 25th August.

Since closing our venues, we’ve been working closely with Sheffield City Council to agree a phased programme of re-opening and confirm a programme of support across all Council-owned venues, without which, none of our facilities would have been financially viable to open.

The venues that we will be reopening in the first wave can be seen below:

  • Concord Sports Centre
  • EISS (English Institute of Sport Sheffield)
  • Hillsborough Leisure Centre
  • Springs Leisure Centre
  • Westfield Sports Centre
  • iceSheffield
  • Heeley Pool & Gym (Private Hire Only)

We also appreciate that there will be some disappointment regarding Ponds Forge not being on the first phase of reopening. We have no plans to close down Ponds Forge permanently and will continue to closely monitor the situation regarding large-scale events and look to reopen as soon as is practical and reasonable to do so.

All customers will receive further details of our reopening over the next few days. For those customers who will be affected by our phased reopening we will be in touch detailing the options available to you.

We would like to thank you for your continued patience and support, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
