This service is provided by Leigh Purdy of Lupton Fawcett Solicitors. We can arrange for carers to have a phone call with the solicitor for advice on some areas of personal law relating to a caring role such as:
- Wills and discretionary trusts, with specialism in advising parents of those with a learning disability.
- Lasting power of attorney and court appointed Deputyship
- Deprivation of assets
- Administering estates (preparing for your own death by simplifying things, or after someone has passed away)
If, after receiving advice, you need to progress some legal work (such as making a Will) you will need to arrange for a solicitor of your choice.
To arrange an online appointment please phone our Carer Advice Line on 0114 272 8362.
