We are delighted to announce that Sheffield Carers Centre has passed an audit for the prestigious ISO 9001 standard for the second year. This internationally recognised quality standard provides evidence an organisation has a robust quality management system in place. It is designed to help organisations improve their operation, deliver a quality service and demonstrate strong governance.

Pauline Kimantas, Chief Executive of Sheffield Carers Centre, commented:

“The Charity is very proud of the work it does to help unpaid carers in Sheffield. Having a Quality Management System (QMS) is an integral part of everything we do and the ISO 9001 accreditation helps to demonstrate our commitment to providing high quality support services to the city’s unpaid carers.

Many thanks to our staff, our volunteers and our trustees for all their hard work and dedication in helping the Charity achieve this accreditation for another year. They have shown great adaptability to meet the challenges posed during the past year by the pandemic, moving offices and bidding for a new contract with the Council. We now look forward to continuing to provide support services to more unpaid carers in 2022.”
