From today, the history of Sheffield Carers Centre is on display at the Winter Garden, showcasing the support offered by the charity for unpaid adult carers over the last 25 years. Alongside celebrating this milestone, the display is an opportunity to raise awareness of carers’ services among the general public, including reaching some of the thousands of carers not currently in touch with the Carers Centre.

The exhibition, which runs from 29 January to 10 February, charts the history of the Carers Centre from its foundation as a charity in 1994 up to 2019, a year in which the charity was in touch with 12,000 carers across the city.

The display stands close to the gallery-side of the Winter Garden in the city centre and can be viewed during the regular opening times of 8am-8pm Monday-Saturday and 8am-6pm Sunday over the 13-day period.
