Free Legal Advice for Carers
Sheffield Carers Centre are working with Lawson Wills and Probate to provide carers with access to free 30-minute individual legal advice clinics on the last Friday of every month.
Lawson Wills and Probate is a family-focused business run by Leigh Purdy who is a legal expert and a former Solicitor with professional qualifications. Leigh has been offering pro bono services for the Cares Centre since 2020. She is able to offer advice around:
- Simple Wills
- Discretionary Trusts
- Vulnerable Persons Trusts
- Lasting Power of Attorney
- Court of Protection applications
- Estate Planning and Probate

Clinics are usually offered over the phone, but if you have difficulties communicating this way please let us know.
